This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hello everyone,
I just joined today and I am so happy to be here. I'm in New Orleans, USA and it's been a gorgeous sunny afternoon....and tomorrow it will freeze. Yay, Louisiana. Anyway, I look forward to this new adventure. I've heard so many good things about Litopia and here I am. Hope you all have an awesome weekend--Nance

A hearty welcome to you.

Oh! That Gaiman quote is one of my favorites. I write some general fiction but I tend most often to magic realism.

And it's the Litopia method of critiquing in a nutshell :) I look forward to reading your work.

I'm split about 50/50 general fiction and magic realism. I like your range--what's most enjoyable for you and what's most challenging?

Nice. Have you read The Midnight Library? That's great general fiction. Not sure I've read much magic realism. What would you recommend?

Thriller is darn hard. Hats off to thriller writers :) MG is fun!
