• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

1595136063454.png A mirror so you can try on your mask before purchase??? Mind you, yesterday I bought a handmade mask from a colleague on the market. I picked a fabric that went with my clothes (v. important ;) ) but after I'd paid and put it on I realised the elastic was too tight and it hurt my ears and squished my nose. "Would you like to swap it for another?" "Um, no thanks. You won't be able to sell either if I do." "Really?" (long pause while penny dropped) "Oh, yes. I suppose you're right."

My friend (she sews) made me one because all the elasticated ones fall off. She didn't join the elastics so I could adjust it to fit my own little head. Great idea.
