Up to par with your usual enviable skill and melancholy voice — those stories such as this which leave you feeling as if you've just been in a car crash, wondering whom you've killed, you can't precisely say you liked reading — but I'm very glad I did. An excellent story on a topic about which, from your background in biomedical research, I'm sure you know a great deal.
