Evening colonists! The instructions on AgentPete's treasure map said the first thing new Litopia members should do is introduce themselves here. So that's what I'm doing. I'm Louise and I'm an unrepresented children's author currently making submissions.

Thank you so much Mary! And apologies for some of the hilariously peculiar ratings of your comments as I was noseying my way round the forums last night. My inner child just had to try out that long line of multi-coloured buttons. What is that flappy brown bird and why would I rate something a Yorrick (other than the obvious 'alas poor...')?

Other forums would call us moderators. I'm the guardian for the Writing Groups and Writing Groups Directory.

I like to think that @AgentPete called us Guardians cos it sounds all hero's journey-ish, but who really knows? We should ask him.

As for being nice to you, even after you loose the fledgling badge, you'll find that everyone is still super lovely; it's that kind of place. :);):(:mad::confused::cool::p:D:eek::oops::rolleyes:o_O:):):)

Admit it! You like the multi-coloured buttons too. And you just taught me that I can do bold and italics and underlining and all sorts. There'll be no stopping me now.

Guardian of The Colony is a very epic sort of title. I see you in a purple velvet cloak, ash wand aloft, king fu kicking hairy trolls off the rocky crags of the colony.

Oh oh oh I LOVE it! Can you just superimpose a small hairy troll on it's foot? I've just been reading AgentPete's guide to critique and he says you have to be 100% honest if you think there's a hairy troll missing. :D:eek:;):eek::D
