Brilliant poet, and brilliant visuals. I love the priest costumes in the boat. Crossing the waves, but not walking on them. And the scripture in Hebrew that one of them clings to as the other clings to his case of red.

Nick Cave's voice reminds me of another singer. I will dredge up the memories from the always-flowing stream of consciousness; a country-western star who could jump from baritone to alto and back. Nick Cave's lyrics remind me of Jim Morrison and the Doors, but the falsetto is something else...
