One more favorite. It's in a lot of music for writing, dark ambience, etc., lists, but this recording is by the composer.

Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.
This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.
Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…
We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

I'm exactly the same. The only time I'll listen to music is if I'm trying to evoke a particular mood, in which case I'll free-write and then try to capture the emotion in words that go with my story.I couldn't possibly listen to anything while writing - I need total focus.

Ah dang guess NBC only works in the states. This version has a long piano sequence slapped on the end to make it permissible as a different video, but really the only part I'm talking about is the song / video for "Rise". Let me know if it works.Hey what is this? Not available in my country
