See, if I don't listen to music, I'm serenaded every 5 minutes by "MOMMY CAN I HAVE A SNACK I'M SOOOOOOO HUNGRY" or "OH MAN I JUST WENT POOP AND IT LOOKS LIKE POPCORN COME SEE COME SEE COME SEE COME SEE."
Not to self: Thank goodness I have no kids. Dogs are very accommodating once you've tired them out.

Dead Sea Apes have soundtracked a good proportion of mine, esp this album:

(Their own description of their sound is pretty delightful... "range(s) from ambient cloud to massive crunch via elliptical extended rhythms and creeping effects, all shot through with a hovering ominous presence.")
