• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

(I hope I'm posting this in the right section)

I got wind of this awesome tool via Chuck Wendig’s 1000-word Flash Fiction Challenge at www.terribleminds.com. The awesome titles that Chuck provided for this challenge were all courtesy of Michael Coorlim’s Random Story Title Generator. I decided to check it out and I’ve been having a lot of fun with it.

While my particular piece written for Chuck's challenge did not meet the 1000-word requirement, I have posted the entry on my blog. The title I chose to work with was The Body Will Not Be Dimensional.

Really nifty, Tonya. I enjoyed that. A well delivered short story. Great dialogue. No way would I go in there, not knowing what it was inside the cylinder and what might be the consequences. He could call me a girlie-girl as much as he liked. But maybe your character knew what the cat was, even though she didn't know if it was alive or not, Schrodinger style. I'd have drawn cards.
