Hello - if anyone has a spare moment and fancies a chew at the opening of a Viking-period crime novel, I've just posted this to the Writers Forum - https://colony.litopia.com/threads/viking-crime-fiction-opening-does-this-engage.10796/ - looking for Beta readers. Also - if you do like it, I'd love to know who 'you' are - what you normally read. Because some folk suggested this might be YA fiction, and really I don't think I want it to be, although if YA folk wanted to read it, fine. But not exclusively. thanks - Jane
