• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Writing Killer Titles (Instagram Post).jpg

I’m pleased to announce the release of the recut and newly-augmented seminar “Writing Killer Titles”.

All our seminars are moving to the main Litopia site (Litopia.com) and in the process, each one is being re-edited for conciseness and clarity.

Also, you’ll now find every newly-released seminar comes with downloadables. This is a much-requested feature and simply means that when something is referred to in the seminar, you can actually download the referenced document and use it immediately.

Each seminar also comes with a quiz to take after viewing… a bit of fun, but also a neat way to fix key concepts in your mind.

And finally, there’s a feedback form to complete, if you will, please. Having your feedback is essential!

I do recommend the “Writing Killer Titles” seminar to you, my special guest is Alan Samson, one of the industry’s leading publishers, formerly chair and publisher of the august imprint Weidenfeld and Nicolson. He’s published (and talent-spotted) some of the world’s all-time bestselling titles.

Do let me know what you think, and watch out for the next seminar.
