• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

    • Don't give offence

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Hello all, I'm Jeremiah, a writer based in Los Angeles. I'm primarily a horror screenwriter, but love prose as well and am looking to grow in that area. I just finished a draft of my second novel, an action thriller, and am starting to plan my next project

Excited to be here and see what it's all about!

Welcome!
One of the great things about this place is that the perspectives come from everywhere. I'm in Berlin, but we cover a lot of time zones.
Always excited to see new writers (to this place) and look forward to reading you.
