• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Okay, I made my submission for book 1. They are open to multiple submissions; they just want to know that you're making multiple submissions, and if so which book it is in the series (1 of 5, 2 of 5, etc). I told them I was submitting book 1, and that book 2 would follow that they might judge the progress of the series.

I'm taking as many shots at them as they'll give me. I've written up a new query letter and synopsis, now for book 2, formatted the first three chapters of book two for submission, and sent that one off as well.

Oh wonderful. I nearly forgot about this! Thanks...getting ready to submit my Noble Beginnings. Am happy with first third of the book just the latter parts needs polishing so will submit for now and polish, polish, polish.

Disappointing they don't accept children's fiction. :(

Oh well...good luck to all others who have submitted. :)
