• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hi Elly and welcome! Glad to see you're making yourself at home and getting to know the place. Remember to check out the Huddle and Pop-Up Submissions – live on Sundays from 5pm UK time. I'm not sure what that is in Aussie time but it's YouTube so you can catch up with it any time.

Good luck with your writing! Look forward to seeing you around the Colony.

Hi Matthew, fellow Southern Hemispherer (not a word ☺️), thx for the welcome. Your book/s sound like a ride. Such fun to write. xx Elly

A very warm welcome to the colony, @ellyaisling

Nice to have you here with us and sorry as I'm a little behind catching up on this forum.

Hope you enjoy Litopia and please do get involved as soon as you’re ready to.

This is a good place to check out (How-to guide) to see a lot of what goes on in the colony.

If anything is unclear do please contact me and I’ll be happy to assist if I can.

Hi all, from sunny Down Under... I'm a newbie here, returning from a submission/publishing hiatus.

I've been officially writing for 5yrs, and before that, worked in the travel industry as a copywriter and travel agent. It's a thrilling world and I love writing about it...and photographing it. These days, I write romantic fiction.

I'm open to critiquing queries, synopses, opening chapters, and sub packages for authors of any stage in their journey. I've been represented before.

Looking forward to chatting books and craft.

xx Elly
