• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hi all,

Colin M here (waves). I was part of the old Litopia site, regular in the chatroom for Litopia After Dark and even appeared on there a couple of times.

I had a couple of books published in the UK, but my publisher, despite getting the rights for the ebook, never released ebooks of either title. They have been great about giving the e-rights back to Clash, which I put out as an ebook earlier this year (under it's original title The Devil's Prayer). I was surprised just how easy it was to do - although the chapter illustrations were a little tricky to get right.

Anyway, still with Catnip, but I love ebooks, so I'm continuing with that too. I've just put a new book out there: The Boy Who Buried Dead Things. As an experiment, I've decided to give it away for free for the first 48 hours. If you want a copy, download it. If you like it, I'd really appreciate a review. No other strings really. Enjoy.

Thanks - I'm up early, ready to get an hour's writing done... except on I'm here... and Facebook :)
