Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.
This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.
Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…
We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

These are all so lovely @Carol Rose
When I get the chance I will post my MIL's christmas pics from 2 years ago. It was my kids first proper xmas. The year before that I drew a xmas tree!and we decorated it and stuck to the wall. It's so much fun.
Can't wait to see them!!We really love tall-skinny trees and I'll be sure to post ours when we get one up! Ours tend to be decidedly goofy...
My husband's family always had a live tree at Christmas. They smell so amazing! We dig ours up from nearby mixed woodland [we have permission], and they tend to be really odd shapes. Especially by the time we've dragged them back for a mile or so. Paradoxically, it's easier when it snows, because we can put the tree on a sled and drag it back, but I doubt that will happen this year ....
