When I get the chance I will post my MIL's christmas pics from 2 years ago. It was my kids first proper xmas. The year before that I drew a xmas tree! :D and we decorated it and stuck to the wall. It's so much fun.

We dig ours up from nearby mixed woodland [we have permission], and they tend to be really odd shapes. Especially by the time we've dragged them back for a mile or so. Paradoxically, it's easier when it snows, because we can put the tree on a sled and drag it back, but I doubt that will happen this year ....

My husband's family always had a live tree at Christmas. They smell so amazing!
