The World Between the Words
I like
The way you made yourself better
Before you knew me.
The way you ran with me
Before you liked me.
The way you laughed with me
Before you loved me.

I love
The way you offered warmth
Before I asked.
The way you gave comfort
Before I woke.
The way you sought me
Before I sought you.

I love
To be loved
By you.
Let me love you, too.
