How else can we do effective foreshadowing? I have a big event reveal in book three planned that I've hinted at in book one. It's satisfying for a reader who gets into a series to re-read book one and have that "aha" moment.
 
Yes of course. That's what made it so relatable for me. The joke's about the craft. The gap between the vision and the execution, the sheer wrestling match of landing the darn thing.
