This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Does anyone have an idea of a template to use for a t&cs for competition aimed at children.

It needs to state copyright issues - who owns the copyright for their submissions? I'm looking at drafting it for the Full STEAM Ahead campaign to include in forms. From what I've read so far online, by participating in the competition they agree to transfer copyright to the company (whoever holds the competition). Is this standard in comps? Also wording around 'usage' of subissions and social media sharing etc.

Of course it is the adult who will be registering the children i.e parent or teacher so the terms are still targetting the adults to know what they are registering their kids for.

It is a free competition with prizes. Mainly games and books of course :)
There is a grand prize for the over all winner. I want to include as many gifts for as many kids as possible but there is no guarantee that entering will provide them a gift due to the number of potential participant.

I'll keep looking online but thought I would also ask here.

Thanks
