• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

At the Dublin writer thing every agent said what they were looking for was genre-but fresh and original. Annie hit that dead centre. I thought this was interesting analysis of PSycho. People went to a Hitchcock movie expecting thrills, maybe to be scared. And he confounded their expectations and hit them when they weren't looking.

There's a lot in the eye of the beholder [same book/different agents]
1- wow that's great, really refreshing that this is not another WW2 book- love that it's set in WW1
2- You know I don't really understand the difference between WW1 and WW2
