• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Just read a really interesting post on Tiffany Yates Martin's website about the implications of AI for writers and publishing. Thought I'd share the link to it.

If TGM understood English grammar, she would stop pontificating and write "It already has."
Ouch. I'd probably miss that one, too. Good to know you're a go-to guy for a grammar check. As for AI, I guess we're all entitled to offer an opinion. Maybe it's wishful thinking. TYM is trying to put a little lipstick on what many think a pig. :D Seems like "...already is" kind of softens the blow by inferring an ongoing process, but "...already has" feels like a done deal. Is there no hope? Based on my limited knowlege of AI (if worth anything at all), that's what I'm wishing, but I dunno . . . Sometimes I'm really glad I'm old. :relieved-face:
