What side quest must I complete to get access to the Litopia Discord server?

Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.
This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.
Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…
We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

It takes me to Doscord, but says there are no text channels or I don't have access. I should think I need an invite.I'm not 100%, but does the button up on the top bar (I'm on a computer) lead you anywhere?
Hmmm, it's possible the server link has expired. I can try sending you a link to my own Discord server to see if that works? (I can boot you out afterwards if you succeed). It takes me to Doscord, but says there are no text channels or I don't have access. I should think I need an invite.
Okay, so we know its not a Discord thing. I'm guessing the Discord link in the Litopia menu above has expired or is only set up if you're already on the server. @AgentPete are you able to help @Aethalope get access? Thanks! That worked no problem
This is a super idea for Litopians to do, Nikki. I'll have to think if and how it might work for me, though, since I'm in a final (I hope) draft of my novel and addressing some specific elements I feel need beefing up or polishing. But I also want to "pre-write" a bunch of posts for my long-asleep blog as well as for select social media platforms, so maybe I could focus on producing words for that kind of thing.Hi folks,
Is anyone interested in doing a NaNoWriMo style event in November? After all the issues with the official Nanowrimo organisation, I'm not keen on registering with the event through any of their official channels, however, I am keen to attempt 50k words in November and am on the hunt for some comraderie!
You don't need to actually need to aim for the full the 50k (I'll be lucky to get 30k). Just have a writing project or word count goal you want to finish/hit for the month and post your updates each day (I may even figure out how to keep a running tally for people).
Does anyone want to join me on here for a Litopia verison of the event (hence LiNoWriMo)?
Big hugs to you and your mum, Rachel. And smiles, too, for your delightful expression above: "Hooley Dooley."I'm sorry to hear that, my mum starts tomorrow.
Thanks for explaining.
I don't think this is for me, though. (Or I'm not for it.) I wish I was more sociable, but the idea of writing with other people sounds distracting.
I write two hours every day before work and other commitments. I'm not sure how I could do anything different for November. (Also I'm sole carer for my elderly mum who is due chemo soon, so I might actually be less productive).
I'm cheering everyone else on, though. And in principle I think it's a great idea. I like the cameraderie behind it.
I'll mull it over some more.
Thanks @RK Wallis
So Sorry to hear about the stressful times. With your already disciplined schedule it doesnt sound like this if for you. It's the flibbertigibbets like me who need the motivation to focus. Hugs all around. Hope and courage.
I'm sorry to hear about your mother's health, Rachel. And being a sole caregiver isn't easy, I know. Remember to give yourself some loving care, too. Thanks for explaining.

Thanks pal.
Sedayne you are a real grownup. I'm not sure I ever met one before. Respect. Thanks pal.
Just found out I've got to have biopsies myself next week. Better to know if there is anything nasty, but I don't especially want to be following my mum for chemo...
Meanwhile this Linowrimo thing sounds cool. I'll be interested in how everyone gets on even if I don't play the game myself.
I wouldn't go that far. I never tidy my bedroom, and I still talk to my teddy bear.Sedayne you are a real grownup.
Thanks pal.
