I suspect we haven’t head the last from this pair, and kudos to them for winding down in an orderly way. They’ll be back, in one form or another… the publishing bug is incurable once contracted :)

Yes, they've had a decade of success, and they've got a year to plan the next stages in their careers. Still only in their mid-thirties. Hats off to them.

Absolutely.
It's sad, but they sound as if they've been planning this for some time. And they have a good collection of trophies and author prizes to look back on.
