How not to self publish

I've only ever tried self-publishing once. I made every mistake in the book (no pun intended), most are mentioned in this article. If I ever self publish again, I hope I will take some guidance from this article.

I like Medium and The Writing Cooperative in particular. Turns out, I'm still a member after not logging in for a year. Funny how that happens.
