• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Oneword

Hello my fallow writers, Sorry in advance for future spelling mistakes, I started life as an artist, painting in oils mainly. then I became a musician and still record one or two new songs weekly with a dance music produce in London. I have always loved reading so I began writing and work on unusual ideas oftern connected to my music., which combines dance, science, love and philosophy. Well enough about me I am keen to know more about all of you and to learn from you. Love Oneword.

Welcome!
It's a friendly environment here where you can ask or discuss anything literary. You certainly seem to have embraced most of the major art forms - do you write music as well as play it? And how does being a musician affect your writing (if indeed it does)?
