Full Members may receive a notification from the payment provider (Paypal or Stripe) that their subscription has been cancelled.
This is true. We’ve cancelled all prior subscriptions taken out under our old membership system. We’ve done this to ensure that you’re not billed twice, i.e. once by the old system and again by the new system.
Even though the old subscription has been cancelled, your Full Membership continues to run until its expiry date.
Immediately before your Full Membership expires, you will receive an email with a valuable discount code to use against the purchase of a Full Membership, using your new Account Portal.
It’s a very substantial discount and is our way of saying “thank you” to those members of Litopia who may have been inconvenienced by our transition from the older membership system to the new one.
How To Apply Your Discount
From your new Account Portal you can choose which length of membership to buy – monthly, quarterly or yearly. At checkout, you’ll see an option marked “Have a coupon?” which you should click and then enter the code you’ve been sent.
The discount will be applied to the first payment of your subscription. Obviously, opting for a longer subscription – such as yearly – will result in a much greater saving for you!
