Evernight Publishing turns 7 years old this month! They're having a Facebook party, if anyone wants to attend. A couple dozen authors are participating (including me!) and there will be prizes, of course.

Evernight is a small press/digital first publisher, and I've been with them under two pen names now for 6 years. For those of you who don't know, I'm *not* self-published. I go through an acquisitions process, just like any other publisher, and I receive royalties. Evernight does all the cover art, editing, marketing, formatting, etc. They publish romance and some urban fantasy.
I met one of their former editors right here, on the "old" Litopia, and that's how I got my foot in the door when they were still brand new. My current Evernight editor is also a former Litopian. She and her husband both were on this site, and they still write together occasionally.
Litopia truly can open doors, if you take the time to embrace all its possibilities, and are willing to approach your writing with an open heart and a desire to learn the craft and the industry from the ground up.
So ... hope to see you all there at the party!
