News The Unbound / Boundless Publishing Disaster

There's a big piece in today's Bookseller comment section, for those with subs. I don't post a link because it's firewalled; I don't have time to precis.

The Bookseller's Comment article is from Anna Ganley, CEO, Society of Authors. It addresses what those affected by the Unbound collapse should know and could do.
 
It's not particularly insightful, in fact. Just covers the basics...
1. Understand the terms
2. Scrutinise the financial model
3. Know how the royalties are calculated
4. Pay attention to termination clauses
5. Act quickly when trouble arises
And... "We urge those involved at the Boundless Publishing Group to make every effort to find a solution and commit to paying Unbound’s authors as a priority.". Hope they're listening.
