• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

I was once at a national writing conference where someone followed an agent into the bathroom and slid a manuscript under the stall while she was trying to pee. About ten minutes later the program moderator of the whole conference had to make an announcement of the new conference rule that states agents could not be accosted in the bathroom.

I heard about that happening I think Janet Reid blogged about it. One of my favorites is where a man had a pitch session with agent and wife stood beside him. When he was done she clapped and started bawling :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:.

I wonder what the agent did with the MS? Hum, I can guess.

That's stalking. Downright creepy. Serve her right if the agent had a little *accident* and peed on it.
