I almost always take the stairs. Much better for you and a great sense of achievement if there are a lot of flights. I only take the elevator if I'm with a friend who refuses the stairs option or I'm e.g. in a department store where I can't find the damn stairs.

Brilliant, love it! And in much the same way, it makes me wonder if there were those who feared for speech when writing came along.
