The first rule of Pop-Ups is never do any post-production… cock-ups are part of the show. But I’m breaking that rule for tonight’s show, the submissions were not queued up correctly (dumb!) and I under-stated the number of Bram Stoker awards Lee Murray had won! Both now corrected, the show will be uploaded and have a new link in about an hour.
Feeling a lot better than I was on Sunday, thanks to everyone who helped me get thru the show! This Covid variant, altho’ relatively mild, has left me without much sense of taste or smell… which I’m REALLY annoyed by!

Completely impossible to understand YouTube’s algos. Yesterday’s show started with several C-words (my personal position is that I’m really not keen on C-words and F-bombs in submissions, but we respect authors’ rights of expression) and I was convinced we’d be demonetized or worse. But no, all is AOK. We’ve been penalized by them for far less.
And we’re back online again. Many apologies for the downtime!
Amidst all today’s gloom: three stately swans circled and expertly landed on the water, just in front of me; woodpeckers drilling morse code messages to each other; and spring has come to Regent’s Park. Enough to make me smile today.

Very pleased to say that Peggy will be coming home tomorrow evening. There is still a very long road ahead, we’re under no illusions. But she is nothing if not determined. And she’s been one of their star achievers, all the nurses / therapists have been hugely impressed. Thanks to everyone here for their understanding and support these past few weeks.
