I'd love to have some audiobooks on CD, so I can listen on long drives. Does anyone still make those, I wonder? My car doesn't have bluetooth or owt fancy.

Audiobooks are a continuation of the oral tradition, a valid form of delivering stories. Reading is a different experience and activates a different part of the brain. Re: accessibility, some will prefer one over the other. Audiobooks are difficult for me. My brain doesn't always process spoken word in a timely manner. When I read, things make sense. Then there are others for whom an oral form would be best.
