Very pleased to say that Peggy will be coming home tomorrow evening. There is still a very long road ahead, we’re under no illusions. But she is nothing if not determined. And she’s been one of their star achievers, all the nurses / therapists have been hugely impressed. Thanks to everyone here for their understanding and support these past few weeks.
Yes, more background is always useful
I think the balance was a bit skewed towards dialogue, at the cost of narrative. I did get a real flavour of the character, nevertheless. But as several in the Genius Room commented, an entire ms consisting of that sort of dialogue (actually, monologue mostly) is too difficult. .../...
