I've got to go with key lime, although there was a recipe on the graham cracker package I remember fondly from my childhood.

BTW, it's also Einstein's birthday. He would be 137 years old today.
 
It's also my brother's birthday! :D I, sadly, will be spending it at work. And then at home, without pie because I've been eating terribly and it's time to get back on track. :(

I've always considered fruit pies to be health food.
 
Treacle tart. Cherry pie. Rhubarb anything. Savoury pies - fish pie. Yummy.

We did have chicken and bacon pie tonight for supper, quite coincidentally.
 
I think Rhubarb is beautiful, but only in season, you don't see any of it in Spain, and very rarly in Switzerland. My mother used to make 'Rhubarb fool' when we were young.
 
Well I'm cooking meatloaf for tea, but apple pie for dessert would be nice ;)
 
Growing up, during apple season my mom would make two apple pies, and that's what we'd have for dinner! Hot apple pie, with milk poured over it!

I favor apple pie for breakfast - I hope that's what you did with the second one.
 
This thread is making me hungry. I may have to walk down to the corner store. They don't have pies, but their apple turnovers are pretty good.
 
Here in British-influenced NZ, pies are usually savoury, though growing up in Pennsylvania, pies were usually sweet. The PA Dutch aren't shy about eating sweets for a meal though. Gotta have your 7 sweets and 7 sours!
