Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.
This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.
Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…
We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Don't forget, your name doesn't necessarily have to appeal to your readership, the kids. It generally is the parent who does the buying, and Clara would work fine. Sounds trustworthy, yet playful.Had not thought of that. Ah well, i´m guessing that if i ever get to sit down with a publisher they will be the ones to "push me in the right direction" so to speak.
Maybe not the best choice of pen name for this author:
Banana Yoshimoto - Wikipedia
Or this one:
Mody Coggin Boatright (Author of And Horns on the Toads)
Yep! No one does weird like the Japanese. I'm in awe of them. I have a book on designing clothing with knit fabrics, by some Japanese designer, and it is truly bizarre! Brilliant, but I couldn't even begin to imagine actually wearing a single thing in the book!I dont know, Japan is a whole other ballgame.
