This was a heartwarming little story; wonderful to read, as usual.

I wonder — is this all your invention, or did you once know a man like this? You always have a story, about a man like this of which you knew.

In the building where I lived with a couple roommates in college, on the next balcony over and before I ever moved in, was a guy who would go out and sit in his socks and underwear irrespective of the season and serenade a monkey stuffed animal by playing a set of bongo drums.
