Two Awards are available – one of £10,000and one of £5,000 – offered to support writers in completing their debut non-fiction work, for which they already have a publisher’s contract. The Awards were established in 2017 in order to celebrate gifted new authors and provide funds to help complete their work, by allowing for time to write and carry out research. Details of previous winning projects can be found on our website here.

Judges this year are Rachel Hewitt, Kenan Malik and Fiona St Aubyn and the awards are open for submissions until Monday 16 September. Details on eligibility and full submission guidelines can be found on the attached entry form.

Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you require any further information.

Best wishes,
