Condolences to his family and friends, but an interesting article.
 
What an interesting story and what a gifted man. I wonder though, why should he have regretted that a soldier, General Schwarzkopf found meaning in the stories. War is terrible but that a soldier liked his work doesn't make the writer party to war. Those in theatres of war, sent forth by their elected governments, need sustenance as much, if not more than other people.
