The Royal Society of Literature's major Awards and Prizes are now open for books published in 2019 across both fiction and non-fiction:
The £10,000 RSL Ondaatje Prize is awarded to a distinguished work of fiction, non-fiction or poetry, evoking the spirit of a place. Only publishers may submit works for this Prize.
The £10,000 RSL Christopher Bland Prize encourages and celebrates older writers and is awarded to a debut novelist or popular non-fiction writer, first published at the age of 50 or over. Only publishers and agents can submit works for this Prize.
The £10,000 Encore Award celebrates the achievement of outstanding second novels. Publishers, agents and authors can submit works for this Award.
