• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Thanks for that Paul, do you use any software or online tracking sites that allow you to check up on progress?

I haven't as yet, though I guess it could be useful. I'm still at the stage of compiling a list of 50 agents to query. Perhaps changing my name, by deed poll, to Tom Cruise will help....;) Or, how about Jake Rowling?o_O

About 3 years ago I bought '2013 childrens writers & artists yearbook'. It has lists of publishers, agents, what they are looking for, etc... I shall be using that as my reference. I shall probably build a spreadsheet also. (Ill post the template for anyone interested).

How about 'Paul Writewell'

Got an updated 2017 version of that. It's really worth it I agree. Am doing the same thing. Have listed all the agents on spreadsheet too and checking off the wish list and ordering them into large, medium and small (one agent, one assistant).

Thanks for the link, must start pushing queries now that I've exhausted Australia (by all 2!) :D
