• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

I am SO sorry that both the Huddle and Pop-Ups were cancelled this past weekend. Thanks to everyone behind the scenes who helped to spread the word about this.

It’s been the longest weekend I can recall, with almost no sleep. It would be nice if airlines were a little more forthcoming about their intentions, e.g. when they decide to cancel a flight after delaying it for endless hours, then suddenly route it via Vietnam, etc etc etc.

But all worked out in the end, looking forward to this week’s Huddle on Saturday and Pop-Ups on Sunday.

Again, sorry to muck you about.

Glad you and your family made it through the aviation nightmare and back home!
Guests are now rescheduled and we have Emma Robinson and our very own @Jonny on the show this coming Sunday :)

Not a problem, Pete.

Glad it's all worked out fine in the end. Airlines are a law unto themselves. Customer service never seems to be considered except when taking your money.

You would be totally inhuman or 100% hermit if you didn't sometimes have to do other things at the weekend. No apology required.
