• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

We now allow political discussion, but strongly suggest it takes place in the Steam Room, which is a private sub-forum within Café Life. It’s only accessible to Full Members.

Shall we fix a date for Litopia’s next get-together?

For those who don’t know, these are near-monthly live video conferences which are either themed around a topic, e.g. how to get an agent, or sometimes just a general potpourri of issues / questions / ideas that are currently on peoples’ minds. If you have specific questions for me, I’d ask you to post them in the June Meetup Group beforehand, so I can give them a bit of thought.

I’m thinking about Sunday 5th June at 5pm UK... how does that work for you?

If you’d like to attend (it’s free, works on any computer) then simply go to the June Meetup group, and hit the button that requests membership. Numbers will be limited to 25 max.

That weekend I am moving house and the Fibre is installed on the 6th, so I will have to bow out of that one.

I should be good with whatever Sunday, but the 5th of June definitely works for me.

Hi I am out if the country on the 5th for a week, so won't be able to make it, unfortunately. I can do any Sunday from 19th onwards
