Must have taken you / him ages!
It's a joint effort and we start in October usually, and this year there are 5 trees we usually put up but didn't because he had foot surgery in August and can still only stand for certain periods of time. Personally, I think the house looks fine with only 7 trees instead of 12. LOL!! :)

We don't have ours up yet--next weekend. But I thought I'd share a couple of our favourites from past years. We make a new tree every year, and try to be creative about the process...
