• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Its fair too say my head is utterly pickled today after only leaving my MacBook to attend to my basic needs. But I'm happy to say I have Re-written my synopsis and prologue. Anyway enough about me.

Fellow Writers,

Shall we play a little, light-hearted game?

Lets just say your novel gets published, noticed and a film producer approaches you for an adaptation/movie (The ultimate dream for a writer, I know its mine)

1. Actor/Actress wise who would you cast as one of your main characters? Staying as true as you can to your novel.

2. Why would you cast them?

3. To keep the fun going include one amusing fact about your novel or current project. (And Anything Goes)

Heres mine -

1. I would cast Madelaine Petsch from Riverdale as my main character Angelique Gray from Roses and Thorns (Was Flight Of A Skylark)

2. Why? Just look at those strawberry blonde locks of hers (Very Envious) and her features are very similar to Angelique's image in my head as I write. Plus she plays a real nasty, it would be cool to see her play a nicey for a change.

3. My Fun Fact - That Old Black Magic sung by Frank Sinatra inspired my romance between Abe Gray and My Grimmwitch - Genevieve Coupe. Every time I work or write a scene which includes them it has to be playing in the background, seriously. So when you see me listening to it on Discord you know exactly what I'm working on ;)

Now its your turn peeps :p

Um. Daughter of the Night --- Winona Ryder -- many decades ago.

2. Why would you cast them?

Well. She'd be good for it. Also, as a favor. Although, not to Winona, obviously. Not even the current one.

The last thing I wrote was mostly a true story.
