Welcome… I’m New Here! Hi Everyone!!

I am excited and a bit nervous.... checking everything out and hoping to make some new friends along the way Currently work as a HH nurse and at times I forget I need to see patients because I'm consumed by a story.... but I am a good nurse! I originally hail from Mexico and grew up with a story telling grandmother. I am currently working on 5 novels - hoping to maybe publish one day.

Sorry had to come back and add in-- So I like world building and that is what my series is - I've created a map and more---- believe it or not this story started out as a short bedtime story for my nieces back in '97 and escalated into a number of books- who knew?

Hmmm well the first book was written in 2000 and I did do self publish at the time but learned a hard lesson - NOT EASY!! Working fulltime at the hospital, marketing, setting up book signing's.... etc. I give a big shout out to Barnes and Noble as that is where I did my first signing and it terrified me. They went out of their way to make me comfortable. Yep I did a read and sign but everyone seemed to be interested in my private life and not so much the book or that's how it felt. Many of the book questions pertained to the intro and why or what happened to start off in this manner.

When I went home that night I thought about it.... so I went back in time and then I had questions so went back further... so much that I came up with Book 1 - 2 & 3 . So I'm working on editing Book 1 before I go on.... but I keep bouncing over to UTSBO as a thought pops up *snap - I should add this in that section, it would make for better.

I do find one thing funny I get asked am I published - where can they get my books.... Sorry nothing yet AND still people follow me ? My youtube has almost 3,000 followers and my FB has a little over 14,000 - weird - and I don't really post much - with work and editing and listening to advice my dogs patients calling me asking what they should have for dinner (lonely elderly)

But will keep pushing along... I'm really liking Litopia and all the wonderful people here

I agree @betsie – book signings are terrifying. Well done! That's another achievement you can tick off. And clearly you're doing something right online because 3,000 followers on youtube and 14,000 on FB is great. Keep pushing along! Your reader base will keep growing.

Love that ! As a Home Health Nurse I go from home to home providing medical services as ordered by doctors. And yes patient can try you ! For the most part everyone is cooperative with me and that not only makes my job easier but more rewarding to see someone get better. I can write a book on what I've seen and people would probably think I made it up. Althoug I have kept some of those patients in mind and yes they are now characters in one of the stories
