• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hello everyone. May I introduce myself as half an author, the other half being Thaddeus Lovecraft who, at the point of a gun, encouraged me to write The Unbearable Sheitness of Being. I was a member of some years in Litopia’s previous life. It’s good to see some old faces again, and may I take this opportunity to thank Richard Sutton for the glowing review on Amazon; don’t blame me for the cheque not arriving Richard as the grubby financial side of things is down to our dodgy publisher. Seriously, it will be good to catch up and share. All the best, Nick.

Many thanks for the welcome. I’m extremely busy for the next four weeks, but after this I hope to sit back, relax, enjoy a coffee with you all and have a good chat. Thanks again. Nick. :)
