• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hello,

Thanks for the swift welcome to what I can already see as a great community.

It's always hard to introduce yourself when only sarcasm can truly show who you are, BUT, I'm UK based, currently setting aside full-time work in lieu of giving myself a clear time to write.

I would consider my writing style to be poetic and humour based, with my themes hovering around human nature.

Currently writing a romantic/erotic novel as an attempt to see if I am capable of versatility--only time will tell...

I sometimes write on Quora, try to build my blog and learn new ways to give me headaches.

Looking to get feedback, help others, make connections and occasionally make awkwards jokes that silences the room.

Hoping to make you all my new best friends and try to gain your approval.

Cheers!

Welcome! Look forward to tutting under my breath at your awkward jokes!

Thank you all for the welcomes, I love looking at all your nicknames and attributions. One day I hope to be "venerated" or "supreme", but I'll gladly accept "possibly borderline" for now!

Cheers again!
