• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Nice to meet everyone. I write stories and work in a museum in Louisville, Kentucky. Lived in NYC for a bit. That was great. I'm an eclectic reader, but don't typically do hardcore genre stuff, though that isn't intentional or a nose-thumbing. Just kinda happens.

I've never crossed the Atlantic but hope to someday, preferably via merlady. Huge music fiend and always on the hunt for sounds that are brand new to me. Dig food. Dig beer. Dig bourbon. Dig nature and new people.

I hope everyone's having a great day.

Hi @Truant Memphis

Nice to see you and hope you enjoy what Litopia has to offer.

It’s extremely friendly round here so do feel free to get involved as soon as you’re ready.

Here's a good place to check out (How-to guide)to see a lot of what goes on in the colony.

If anything is unclear please contact me and I’ll be happy to assist if I can.

Hi! I'm new here as well.

I've actually just returned from Paris a few weeks ago (my niece graduated from college over there). I love strolling through museums, so if I worked at one, not sure I'd get much done. :)
