• Café Life is the Colony's main hangout, watering hole and meeting point.

This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

Hi everyone,

another new member here. My name is Kat and I'm a MG and YA writer. That being said, I also have random bursts of writing in other genres...as you do.

It's been a long time since I was part of a forum, and in fact the first time I've ever been part of a writer's forum, so this should be fun.

Nice to meet you all!

Cool dragon! Welcome! There are several of us that write MG and YA and as you say, other things on the side. Make yourself at home.:)

Thanks guys! (Sorry it's taken me so long to get back here, I've been bogged down with editing). Also, for anyone interested, the 'dragon' in my dp is actually a dinosaur climbing frame at a small amusement park on the Isle of Wight. I'm a big kid, I know.
