This is a place where you'll meet and make writing friends, and indulge in stratospherically-elevated wit or barometrically low humour.

Some Colonists pop in religiously every day before or after work. Others we see here less regularly, but all are equally welcome. Two important grounds rules…

After watching two film adaptations of A Christmas Carol yesterday, the 1951 Alastair Sim version and the 2009 performance capture movie, starring Jim Carrey as Ebenezer Scrooge (giving an eerily good impersonation of Sim's voice), this cartoon from Bo's Café Life made me smile.

We're all haunted by ghosts—everyday memories and what we dredge up in our writing.
